Travel is one industry that no matter how the economy is it continues to grow. people love to travel to exotic destinations or just around the corner from their homes. Cheap Travel options are becoming more common than they have ever before. As prices go up on things people need such as fuel and other things find a cheap travel destination has become a way of life. Many years ago you would just visit a travel agent to find the best deals for you and your family. That has changed with the invention of the Internet.

Cheap travel websites now making travel alot easier as you can access many more options than even your travel agent could find for you. Another big advantage of cheap travel websites is many people are never really comfortable in front of a travel agent telling them they didn't have the money for a certain trip. Having these websites make people feel more comfortable when they are making travel plans.

Booking your travel destinations have changed alot in the travel industry.. it use to be that your only option for a cheap vacation was to buy whatever your travel agent had available. That is still available, but now you can search your own trip and make whatever travel plans you want. Search the internet lets you find the best deals for you and your family. Many agents are not happy with the way some people use the Internet as it cuts them out of a portion of money they use to make. That's how far we have progressed in the travel industry. It could come a time when you make your own travel plans and a travel agent is no longer needed.

Of course that will probably be a few years away, but that looks like the way we are headed right now. Is this for the better? I guess that can be both a yes and no answer. In ways it's a good thing as you can search your own deals. The bad part I guess is you lose the human element and interaction you had with your travel agent. I guess we all have to pay a price for technology. I'm sure we will see many other innovations as the years go buy. Hopefully they will be for the better and our travel plans will be alot easier to make.
